Dream, Imagine, Believe

I recently bought the Hunkydory Gorgeous Girls and Lovely Ladies collections. It was the first time I'd bought Hunkdory and Im glad to say I'm not dissapointed; the pictures are beautiful, there's a wide variety of themes and, of course, its all on the fabulous Adorable Scorable cardstock. It took me a couple of hours just to stop looking at it. Then I did what I often do with my best card making materials - I put it away!

It proved impossible to leave alone though and my mind kept wandering back to it. I decided that I had to step up my game and jump in feet first to make an 8 by 8 inch card - my first 'large' card ever. The pressure was on as I wanted to do it justice and wasnt sure I had it in me, but Im really proud of the final result. I've included two pictures because while one shows the glittered card off really well, the other shows the colours in more natural light.

The background card stock is from the Hunkydory collection, everything else, including the sentiment is from my stash.The green wire is my tip of the day - I got a pack of 5 spools of plastic coated from my local pound shop in their gardening section. It twists easily and I created the curls by running it between my thumb and a large paint brush before tightening it with my fingers - very easy, very quick and best of all very cheap!
